We travelled to Monroeville, Alabama to visit the sites that Harper lee used to get inspiration for “To Kill a Mockingbird”. We took a tour of some of the places that are mentioned in the book. We visited the Monroe County Heritage Museum to see the courtroom that Harper Lee used as the set for the movie “To Kill a Mockingbird”. We visited Miss Lee’s gravesite and the church that the Finch family used to go. We had great and delicious lunch at David’s Catfish House. We also stop at the Vanity Fair Golf and Tennis Club to play some Kan-Jam. Finally we ended the day going to going to buy some ice cream to Mel’s place which was built on the site of the Finch family home, next door to Truman Capote and across the street from the Radley’s.
